BNC is the abbreviation
of Bayonet Neill Counselman. These are the Coaxial connectors and are the most
widely used RF connectors. They have a myriad range of applications in any
coaxial or screened cables, usually RF applications. A BNC connector is used on
trial of a wide range of equipment, including oscilloscopes, power meters,
function generators, and audio generators.
The BNC connectors are
mainly used to catch signal connections such as analog and serial digital
interface video signals, radio antennas, aerospace electronics, test equipment,
and nuclear instrumentations.
Types
The most important types
of BNC connectors are the following:
Compression
A BNC compression
connector is a single-piece F connector. With the aid of a cable stripper and a
compression instrument, you can easily attribute the connector to the cable.
Crimp-on
There are two designs of
BNC Crimp-on connectors. A 2 piece and a 3-piece connector. By utilizing a
cable stripper and a compression device, you can attain a protected attachment
of the BNC crimp-on connector to the coaxial cable. The crimp-on type BNC is
most popularly used.
Twist on
The Twist-on BNC
connector needs no instruments to connect, just the cable. As the name
indicates, it is twisted onto the cable by manual means.
All three kinds
accomplish the same purpose, and the critical difference between them is the
way they are attached to the cable.
RJ45 BNC
The RJ45 used along with
the BNC features improved power and quality. The BNC RJ45 Balun Panel are highly advanced as
they can carry power, video, and audio all at once. It offers you excellent
quality at very affordable prices. From the camera to the DVR, it is used for
